🧩 Overview

When the team approached me, they already had paying clients using their algorithmic service manually. They needed a designer to turn this technical, service-based workflow into a self-serve platform—something intuitive enough for non-technical marketers, yet powerful enough to manage complex Web3 campaign logic.

Product Vision
A SaaS platform that enables Web3 teams to run targeted ads through direct X (Twitter) integration—streamlining cohort targeting, campaign automation, and performance tracking.

👩🏻‍💻 My Role

I first joined as a contract product designer focused on the MVP. But as I dug deeper, I spotted strategic UX gaps that could block growth. My proactive approach led to a full-time position, where I contributed across product, design, and early-stage validation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supported product discovery and competitor research

  • Designed MVP UX for first proof-of-concept (POC)

  • Ran wireframe testing sessions with early users

  • Built the design system and visual branding

🔍 Discovery & Market Research

To validate the opportunity and identify key differentiators, I conducted:

  1. Demo calls with competitors and related products

    • Ad management platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, Google Ads)

    • Marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign)

    • Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) (e.g., Segment, Amplitude, 神策數據)

    • Growth marketing tools (e.g., Branch, AppsFlyer, Mixpanel)

    • Web3 marketing dashboards (e.g., DappRadar, Galxe, Zapper)

  2. Analysis of public customer reviews from G2 and X

  3. Feedback synthesis from investors, accelerator mentors, and existing clients

🧠 Insight
Users were frustrated with fragmented tools and manual workflows—they needed one place to manage ad audiences, campaigns, and tracking in sync with Twitter’s platform.

🧪 Prototyping & Testing

With a clear sense of user needs, I translated workflows into low-fidelity wireframes and iterated fast with internal and external feedback.

Key Flows:

  1. Select Cohort – Define audience filters across wallets, behaviors, and social metrics

  2. Assign to Twitter Audience – Sync directly with Twitter Ads Manager

  3. Launch & Monitor Campaign – Track conversions and engagement

Rather than a Figma prototype, I partnered with our developer to build a live, interactive version that clients could test hands-on—paired with screen recordings to identify and optimize key friction points in each round.

🎛️ Iterations - Filter UI Iterations

One of the most complex pieces was building a dynamic filter system that supported "AND/OR" logic with multiple nested conditions.

  • Label clarity

  • Visual hierarchy for nested logic

  • Horizontal Layout Shift:

Switched from vertical stacking to a horizontal scroll to save space and improve usability on limited screens.

  • Improved Scannability: Designed filters to be scrollable and chunked logically—making it easier for users to scan and adjust complex conditions.

Result
A flexible filter UI that clients called “surprisingly easy” despite its depth.

🧱 Design System & Branding

As the MVP matured, I created a design system to ensure visual consistency and streamline developer handoff.

  • Created a scalable design library to speed up development and support future features

  • Built atomic components (cards, filters, inputs) for easy reuse

  • Applied a WCAG AA-compliant color palette for accessibility

  • Developed a clean, futuristic brand aesthetic aligned with Web3 culture

  • Used MidJourney to generate custom 3D graphics and visual inspiration
